Turtles in Baise
Baise turtles belong to the family Turtleidae, freshwater turtles Turtle genus, also known as Mcley's turtle. Scattered in Guangxi domestically, none overseas. It is a desolate and precious observation turtle. It was named by C.H. Ernst in August 1988 based on the original name purchased from the west of Baise, close to Yunnan.
The back is oval and hemispherical, with a raised central ridge. The color of the carapace is brownish-red; Closed; the head is yellow, with a pair of orange postorbital lines bordered by black, the neck is orange, and the face is very bright. Turtles have been eaten by people for a long time, and it is believed that they have a certain regulatory price. The high price encourages people to catch them in large quantities. The original form of the specimen was all purchased from the market. Because its known distribution range is not wide, it may be difficult to find it in the wild.
