Mangrove Monitor
Mangrove monitor lizards have different body sizes due to differences in their distribution areas. This kind of lizard hates an agitated environment. Their shape gives the impression of a petrified animal. The total length of adult mangrove monitor lizards exceeds 150 centimeters, generally less than 1 meter.
The nostrils of the mangrove monitor are closer to the snout, and its body color is mainly dark brown or black, with yellow or white freckles. The tongue is black, and the abdomen is brighter in color, but has no obvious markings. Mangrove monitor lizards will dig through human waste bins. It is also one of the few creatures on Guam that can pose a threat to the brown tree snake.
