Tri-rope beauty snake (certain introduction), mainly distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou, Fujian, Guangdong, and Guangxi. The back of the snake is gray or yellowish brown. The important economic uses of snakes include: they can be used to prepare Five Snake Wine and Three Snake Wines for medicinal purposes to regulate rheumatism; their gallbladder can be used as medicine. It can eat rats and eliminate rat damage.
This species has been included in the "List of terrestrial wildlife protected by the state that is beneficial or has important economic or scientific research value" promulgated by the State Forestry Administration of China on August 1, 2000.
